HeadCounter is a free space occupancy tool that allows knowing how many people are inside your space, by updating the counter as people walk in and out of your space or venue.
You can use HeadCounter tool on both mobile and desktop.
Setting Up the HeadCounter App
Scan de QR Code
- Navigate to https://headcounter.app/..
- Set your space or event name and the maximum capacity.
- Mobile: by tapping Start Counting the HeadCounter app will be open in your browser.
- Desktop: by clicking Start Counting, you've to scan the customized QR Code to easily launch it with your phone or copy the URL below the QR Code.
Please note: If you want to run the HeadCounter app on desktop you have to click Use on this device (button) or to copy the customized URL below the QR Code and open it in the browser.
How to use it on android
- Go to Play Store.
- Search for the HeadCounter and install it.
- Tap Get started.
- You can choose Simple counter to manage the space occupancy without creating an account.
- You can choose Live counter to manage the space occupancy and share it with your audience.
- Create an account for your space by entering your email and password.
- Tap Login/Register.
- In the dialog box confirm your password and tap Create.
- Set up your space information by filling in the fields Name, Capacity, Slug, Website, Facebook Page, Phone Number.
Please note: Don't forget to insert the prefix https:// before the link for the Website and Facebook Page fields.
- And tap Submit.
- Tap Start counting to start using the people counting tool. Here you will find the link to share your space occupancy in real-time with your audience.

- Tap
to add people to the counter when they go in the space.
- Tap
to subtract people from the counter when they go out of the space.
- Tap
to refresh the counter tool and return to the value 0.
- Tap
to share the occupation of your space on social media and to copy the link to your counter page with your audience.
- Tap
to edit information about your space.
How to use it on iOS
- Go to App Store.
- Search for the HeadCounter and install it.
HeadCounter panel
Tap 
- Enter/edit the Counter name.
- Enter/edit the value. The value option corresponds to the number of people who are currently in the space. You can set this value manually, for example, if there are already people inside the space before starting to count entries and exits.
- Enter/edit the maximum capacity of your space.
- Tap Save.

to refresh the counter tool and return to the value 0.
Tap 
to add people to the counter when they go in the space.Tap
