Use visitor forms to register visitors for your event, creating your own custom questions for visitors to answer and collecting relevant information about them.

Before you get started


Before creating a visitor form please make sure basic information about the event is filled out on the Event Information page. Learn how to set up basic information about the event.

Add and edit form fields



  • Click Manage Event


  • Go to additional settings in left menu


  • Click Visitors and then click Visitors' Form


  • In the upper left side, select Fields tab.


  • Click Add field.


  • In the dialog box, you must type the field title and choose the field type.


  • Complete the requirements for each form field and click Add field.


  • Create all the fields, one by one, to make up your visitor form.



  • To edit a field's options, go to the Visitors' Forms page and:


  • In the upper left side, select Fields tab.


  • Go to the form field you want to edit and click the edit button.


  • Make the desired changes, and click Update Field.


Please note: by default, the Email and Name fields are required when a visitor fills in the form. As such it's not necessary to create these two fields on the visitor form unless you want to create a Full Name or Name to appear on the credential fields.

Compose your visitor form



  • Click on Manage Event


  • Go to additional settings on left menu


  • Click Visitors and then click Visitors' Form


  • In the upper left side, select Form tab.


  • Drag and drop fields onto the form preview on the left (Available fields) to include them on your form on the right (Selected fields). Fields can be placed above or below to other fields.


  • Choose the order of the fields.


  • And, click Update Fields.


  • In the upper right side, click Form Preview and you will see your visitor form.


  • You can also click the Micro Form Preview and you will see the fields included on the micro form only.

Customize your form description


You can customize the visitor registration form page, including the title, introduction, and a thank you message.

To customize the fields Event Title, Location and Date that are placed at the top of the page, or to add a background image of the event, learn how to set up basic information about the event.

To customize some fields of the visitor registration form page:


  • Go to your app.beamian account


  • Click Manage Event


  • Go to additional settings in the left menu


  • Click Visitors and then click Visitors' Form


  • In the upper left side, select Description tab.


  • Enter the form title in the Attending form title field.


  • Enter the paragraph presentation of the form in the Attending form description field.


  • Enter the thank you message in the Attending Form Final Message field.



  • Click Update Messages (at the bottom of the page.)
