Your event can be set up in only one language, the event's default language, or you can set up the event in three different languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese)..

Setting up one language

You can choose a language when entering your event details. This will be used by event page, registrations forms, emails and tickets.

  • Click on your current event.

  • Click Event details on the Top Navigation Menu and then click Event Information.

  • Scroll down to the Default Language field.

  • Select one of the available languages (EN, ES or PT) as the default language.

Setting up a Multi-Language Event

If you wish to create an event in multiple languages you need to enable Multiple languages mode and create translations for the five language versions of your registration forms, tickets, emails, sessions and so on. Error messages, validations and buttons already have default translations for EN, ES, and PT languages.

First, you must choose the default language for your event:

  • Click on your current event.

  • Click Event details on the Top Navigation Menu and then click Event Information.

  • Scroll down to the Default Language field.

  • Select one of the available languages (EN, ES or PT) as the default language.

Second, you need to select the language that your content will be displayed in Languages.

  • Go to the Event details.

  • Scroll down to languages and select the languages you want between ENG, ES, PT, DE and FR.

Finally, for each content you create on the beamian platform you will need to enter translations for each language version:

  • Everytime you need to fill in information about the event, or you're building forms, you will have fields for all languages you have chosen.

This applies to form fields, but also to tickets, emails and any content you create on the platform. See the examples below.
